Re: Fw: TRY 100PLUS with WATER - NOT PANADOL
.
just to make a comment on this matter..
FYI, all drug given by doctors are hazardous if taken more than what was prescribed. Including Panadol. The problem with panadol, it is over the counter medication. Meaning anybody can buy it without doctor prescription. It is safe as long as it is taken according to the instruction. Unfortunately, some people ignore the warning and subsequent consume more than what was supposed to be taken. Therefore, it will accumulate & become toxic to body, causing LIVER FAILURE... not kidney failure as mention by mie. May be his ex-gf was unfortunate to develop kidney failure needing dialysis, but it is unlikely due to panadol consumption. It may be due to some other kidney diseases affecting the kidney's ability to filter all the toxic material in the blood. Liver and kidney have excellent capacity to detoxify our body. If there are no underlying problem, it will last a lifetime. Some people who consume EXCESSIVE amount of alcohol will eventually develop liver failure due to accumulation of fat & toxic material in the liver cells. This will eventually lead to liver failure, liver chirrosis and liver cancer.Panadol can be fatal if taken excessively at a time. If taken according to prescription, liver will metabolize it and eventually excrete it through faeces. I have seen a girl died due to panadol toxicity. She consume probably about 50 tablets of panadol after breaking of with her bf. By the time she came to the hospital, all the panadol have been digested & entered her blood stream. If she was brought earlier, she will undergo gastric lavage to clear whatever tablets inside her stomach. Unfortunately, she came late. There was no antidote for panadol toxicity. We hope that her liver manage to clear all the by-product of panadol but it was probably to much to handle at one time. Her liver function deteriorate within a ew days and she succumbed about 2 weeks later. So, be aware of all the warning behind the panadol strip or in the box. Please see a doctor if you're not sure. We will be happy to assist you because we care.Last but not least, please be aware that some matters are not what it seems to be. Please consult if you're not sure.
Thank you...
