6 Ways To Affirm Your Motivation Every Day (Leviton, 1995)

  1. Say to yourself: "I can be smarter than I think I am. I am smarter than I think. I can master the basic of developing a sharp mind."
  2. Repeat this sequence three times, saying it with conviction.
  3. Repeat this affirmation sequences at least three times daily, preferably as soon as you wake up in the morning, at midday, and just before falling sleep.
  4. It is psychologically more effective to say your affirmations out loud in a strong, clear, confident voice. Speaking them actually gives them energy and brings you closer to their realization in your life.
  5. Use them like medicine: Everytime you doubt your abilities, feel mentally sluggish, stupid or dense, repeat them, preferably out loud, to bolster your confidence.
  6. Make this a daily practice: Write out your brain power goals; draft new or different affirmations, and say them out loud daily.
